Film critic and columnist Roger Ebert

Film critic and columnist Roger Ebert, author of The Great Movies (2002), has written that this site is "an invaluable repository of movie descriptions and dialogue...(the) site represents a labor of love." He referred to the site in his Answer Man column as an "awesome website (that) contains detailed descriptions of 300 great American films, along with many other riches." He has also written: "The site offers many ways of looking at important films, but the centerpiece is his series of 100 long reviews of classics, including downloadable still photos, highly extensive plot summaries, and a lot of quotes... This site is useful for film students or others seeking an entry point into film history. He has essays on genres, periods and types of movies, and suggested titles in each area, and his sheer love for the movies comes across in his accuracy and energy."

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

I love this guy not only he is chinese actor but also his emotion in movie

Acting :
Everyone does a nice job further developing their characters in this third installment. As the young lovers, Knightley’s Elizabeth has gone from being a pampered—albeit feisty—lass to a full-fledged, ass-kicking pirate (even if she has clean teeth), while Bloom’s Will, once green at the whole hero thing, turns into a true leader. Rush, as the new and improved Barbossa, isn’t nearly as menacing in human form as he was undead, but his sparring with Captain Jack over who’s the rightful captain of the Black Pearl makes for some hilarious scenes. Nighy even gets to display a somewhat softer side to Davy Jones, as we learn more about the octopus head’s backstory. Hollander (Pride & Prejudice) appropriately oozes villainy, while Chow makes a nice addition as the grizzled Chinese pirate lord. Last but not least is Mr. Depp. Thankfully, his Jack Sparrow isn’t as cartoonish as he was in Dead Man's Chest. In fact, watching him interact with a whole pirate ship full of Jack Sparrow clones is quite something. But with a mixture of pirate swagger, sexuality and effeminate mannerisms, Jack never really changes—and that’s fine by us. And yes, Keith Richards makes a well-placed cameo. That guy was born to play a pirate.

'Bush's Past and Leadership Skills at Issue Partly Because of How He 'Won'
by Matt Miller

Two mysteries remain on President Bush's past business practices. Together they raise an even deeper question that will haunt us until November 2004.
The first mystery is: Who is the unnamed "institutional investor" who came out of nowhere, unbidden, to buy Bush's shares of Harken Energy in 1990?
Recall that Bush sold his Harken stock for $848,560 on June 22 of that year. This gave Bush the cash to repay the loan he took out to invest in the Texas Rangers.
What we know so far is that a Los Angeles broker named Ralph Smith cold-called a few Harken shareholders, saying he had an institutional client who wanted to buy a big block of shares. The buyer has never been named, and Smith says he has an obligation of confidentiality to his client. Smith also insists it was a standard trade and the buyer has nothing to do with Bush or his family.
